Every time we visit Lake George, we stop by Gaslight. We enjoyed sitting at the bar window. We just were there 2 weeks ago. Paul makes the best drinks, he made me my favorite margarita even though it was not on the menu. Great pizza too. But the best is his espresso martini. You have to try it. Kudos to Paul.
Had a wonderful dinner with drinks here after a long motorcycle ride. This is right on the main drag. We sat outside in front and even though it was our waitresses first day she did a wonderful job.
My husband and I were in town celebrating our 10yr wedding Anniversary and didn't know that for dinner reservations are popular around town. We came here on a whim hoping to get a table and the wonderful server Natasha was friendly and able to seat us on the patio that was enclosed and super warmer with the heaters. We had a few drinks, the stretched Andy appetizer bread to start and then we both had the 12oz NY strip and everything was fantastic! The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and the grilled zucchini was wonderful. My husband pretty much liked his plate clean it was that good!! Our server was very busy as we heard her say short staff, but she was attentive and excellent! The food was delicious and in the future we will be back for sure!
Quaint little find out on our bike today, our waiter was super sweet! Our food was delicious, cooked well, seasoned well and my Mimosa Flight was delightful!
This is the spot in Lake George. We did several wood fired small plates and it was amazing. We did the Peach Caprese TWICE it was so good. Paul, the bartender provided excellent service! 10 out of 10 I would come here again AND again. IG: @jim.baldwin
Fantastic Christmas Eve brunch for 10 of us! Bottomless mimosa bar! The breakfast scramble and Lox board were delicious!! Highly recommended!! Best new brunch spot in Lake George!
Drinks are good here. They can accommodate my food allergy. Pizza.and mussels were good. The fried gnocchi not so much.. Supposed to have bacon and cheese in it..and I was excited for them..but they have no taste of cheese and bacon and our friends agreed. When I cut a bunch of them open it didn't look to have any cheese or bacon either on it..I was told it's mixed in.....but they gladly exchange them for fries which was good.
Really enjoyed this place, for many reasons. First, the menu is great, there's a wide array of dishes available. I opted for the wood fired pizza and it was really delicious, I was very pleased with our choices. Second, the staff here is wonderful. I dined at the bar and had a chance to talk to several of the staff; they were all friendly and knowledgable- I really appreciated this. Third, the owner came over and chatted with me and asked me how my meal was, that's uncommon and it's a mark of a good establishment. Finally, Gaslight has a great, accessible, location and a really warm and interesting atmosphere. Check it out when you're in Lake George, I believe you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.
